Osmond Nwanya joined George Etomi & Partners, Port Harcourt, in 2011. Prior to 2011, he worked with G.S. Pwul (SAN) who is the Principal Partner of G.S. Pwul & Partners, Jos, from 2007 to 2009. In the course of his practice in that firm, he was involved in high profile litigation matters both at Court of first instance and at Appellate Courts.

In 2009, he joined the firm of B.E.I Nwofor & Co. Port Harcourt, whose principal counsel is B.E.I Nwofor (SAN). In the course of his practice with that firm he was dedicated to research and advocacy.

Currently in George Etomi & Partners which he joined in 2011, he is involved in litigation, commercial practice and law research. He has published well researched articles in University Journals in the Law of banking and other areas. He has the following articles to his credit:

Presently he is at the concluding stage of his book on “The Law Relating to Cheques and Other Bank Payment Methods”.
