Aderiike is a Senior Associate at the Firm. She is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan (where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree) and the University of Strathclyde (Scotland) where she obtained her LL.M (Master’s Degree). She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005.


She possesses years of experience advising clients on various aspects of commercial and corporate transactions, including: carrying out legal due diligence reviews on various acquisition and divestment transactions and providing bespoke advisory services to clients on transactions from start to finish.


Her areas of expertise are Banking & Finance Law, Capital Markets, Information Technology Law, Telecommunications Law and Immigration Law. Aderiike is a team lead in the Corporate Finance/Business Advisory Group and has been actively involved in several Banking and Capital Markets transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions transactions and other Private Equity transactions.


Aderiike led the team that carried out the Legal Due Diligence for HBCL Investments Limited in its successful acquisition of Enterprise Banking Company Limited. She was also an instrumental member of the team that worked on the merging of all entities into the new Heritage Bank Limited (Now Heritage Bank Plc.).


She also led the team that advised a group of foreign investors in setting up a lottery business in Nigeria. Aderiike and her team provided bespoke legal and advisory services to the Clients from incorporation of the business entity, to negotiation with the regulatory authorities and the kick-off of the business.


She was a member of the team of lawyers that advised West Power and Gas “strategic Investor” in its acquisition of 60% shares in Eko Electricity Distribution Plc. (EKEDP). She also led the team that handled the rights issue for Pharma-Deko Plc.


Aderiike is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), NBA- Section on Business Law and the International Bar Association. Her hobbies include travelling, reading novels, cooking, watching sports and crime series.
