Ms Tosin Adefope-Olowu Esq. is an international Lawyer qualified in New York 2007 and Nigeria since 2006. Educated at the prestigious University of Warwick, U.K studying Law as well as French and German Law for her LLB, Tosin then went on to specialise in International Business Law and Intellectual Property as well as Entertainment law for her Master of Laws at UCLA in 2005. This later led her to establish Tadef Inc -an Entertainment law firm in 2008, with clients such as Tuface Idibia, Dbanj, Ikechukwu Killz, Industry Nite Seyi Shay, Durella and others.
Tosin returned briefly to Nigeria for law school after which she worked with both the Yaradua and Goodluck Presidency, lobbying for environmental legislation and assisted with the development of the Sahara Green Wall project and sharpened a focus in Environmental consultancy and Carbon Credit trading. She was also involved in significant work lobbying against anti zoning laws with regards to the Nigerian presidential election.
Returning to the UK in 2012 Tosin has spent over 10 years working in Magic Circle Law Firms as a foreign qualified lawyer, working at the prestigious Linklaters in the Dispute Resolution Department as well as the Competition Law Department at Slaughter and May – With a focus on Mergers and acquisitions where as a Linguist, fluent in French and German, Tosin focused on mainly European Clients, including a German Telecoms Mergers, lengthy investigations by the EC Competition Authority, and several cartel investigations to name a few significant matters.
In a bid to be part of the upbuilding of the great Nation of Nigeria, Tosin has now returned with a wealth of international experience and standards, coupled with Nigerian exposure and experience joining George Etomi and Partners as Partner.
